Work Ethic
STRENGTH, GRIT, and CARE. While we do use power tools when needed, we are not the traditional blow and mow or spray and pray company. We work in the dirt to eradicate weeds, tend to the soil, and care for your plants. We refuse to spray anything other than vinegar.
Hands-On Plant Knowledge
All plants are different and have differing needs. At Green Mountain Boys, we pride ourselves on knowing how to care for each specific plant. This goes beyond differentiating weeds from plants; we strive to gather all pertinent information regarding, sun, aspect, water, soil pH, complementary plantings, aeration, etc.
Soil-Science
We offer pH testings upon request to analyze the microbiome of the garden. We will often amend with mycelium, wood ash, etc to improve the overall soil health
Xeriscapes
We will build out your dream project from start to finish. GMB will walk you through the steps from design/vision to completion
Planting & Garden Maintenance
Start to finish logisitics. Irrigation, soil amendment, fertilizer — we strive to do our utmost to ensure the plants ability to thrive long-term.
Weed Solutions
Installing 10mil fabric, and determining suitable where need it is necessary (particularly over grown rock beds and perennial gardens)
Sod Installation
Sometimes, the grass is too far gone. This is a great solution — we will scrape the existing, amend and grade the soil, and roll out new sod
Artificial Turf
The low maintenance solution for many, this saves water and is built to last
Soil Amendment
We believe the quality of the soil is worth tending to. We take pH samples, and amend soil health with mycorhizzae, nutrients, and compost.

Meet Peter.
Peter moved to Colorado from the Green Mountain State of Vermont in 2021. After getting injured thruhiking the Continental Divide Trail, he landed in Boulder. Coming from a recent background in construction sales and trades, he pivoted back to his roots in gardening, landscaping, and hard, honest work. Green Mountain Boys was founded right then and since then has steadily grown to a crew of 5 others.
